Meet Tyler
I help adults and teens (16+) who want to be their true and authentic selves but are experiencing barriers and challenges in doing so. I work with people facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, smoking cessation, stress/burnout, substance use, or issues in their intimate partner or other relationships.
Feeling stuck is no fun. I understand and can help. We’ll work together on identifying your personal values and strengths. We’ll explore old patterns and habits that might be creating roadblocks on your path forward. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based approaches, I’ll help you move from "stuckness" towards personal growth and fulfillment.
I’m a skilled and collaborative counselling therapist with over a decade of experience in mental health and substance use work. I have a Master of Education in Counselling (M.Ed.) and a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).
