Meet Eric
I help adults (18+) create meaningful and lasting change in their lives. I provide counselling therapy for adults in Halifax Regional Municipality, including Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Cole Harbour, Sackville, and surrounding communities, with appointments available in person and online.
People often begin counselling therapy because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about how to move forward. You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, worry, fear, relationship concerns, substance use, or other life challenges.
I work with people of all genders and sexual and affectional orientations. As a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I offer focused support for queer and trans community members in a safe, affirming, and inclusive space.
Life can feel heavy at times. I understand that from both personal and professional experience. You do not have to figure everything out on your own.
In our work together, we will explore the strengths, skills, knowledge, and values you already carry. These parts of you can help support the changes that matter most in your life.
Narrative therapy is the foundation of my work. This means we will look at the stories that shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and your life. We can also draw from solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and music therapy approaches.
Together, these approaches can help you build greater self-awareness, confidence, and well-being. Our work will be guided by your needs, your goals, and what feels most useful to you.
I'm a skilled, creative, and experienced counselling therapist. I've been helping people create change since 2012. I hold a Master of Education in Counselling.
I'm a Registered Counselling Therapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor, and Music Therapist.
